Sheryl Crow used the occasion of an intimate concert at Los Angeles’ renowned Troubadour on March 2 to formally announce and preview her new studio album, Be Myself, coming April 21, her first via Warner Bros. Records. On March 3, she revealed a batch of concert dates this summer.

Today (April 4), she released a live video of the album’s “Halfway There”–Gary Clark, Jr. appears on the LP version–and announced another rare pop-up club show for April 19, at New York’s Bowery Ballroom. Tickets, priced at $51, go on sale this Friday, April 7 at 12 noon here and will go fast.

In a backstage video from the Troubadour gig, Crow describes Be Myself as “a total throwback to my second record and my third record” and jokes “but if you didn’t like my second and third record, it’s not anything like those at all.”

The singer-songwriter turned 55 on February 11. The nine-time Grammy Award-winning musician (32 times nominated) hasn’t released a new record since 2013’s Feels Like Home.

Crow has released an animated video for “Halfway There” from the new album–the song features guitarist Gary Clark, Jr.–as well as audio for a second song, “Long Way Back.” Both are below.
