Emerson, Lake, and Palmer’s Works Live, recorded during the trio’s famed 1977 Works tour, is being reissued as a standalone release for the first time in nearly 30 years. The title, coming from BMG on July 31, 2026, captures the band at its creative height, performing songs from their storied catalog. It’s available to order, on 2-CDs or 2-LPs, in the U.S. here and in the U.K. here (where it arrives on July 24).

The album’s highlight includes songs from their legendary concert on August 26, 1977 at Olympic Stadium in Montreal, where the band—Keith Emerson, Greg Lake and Carl Palmer—played to a sold-out crowd of 78,000 with a 64-piece orchestra.
