Emerson, Lake & Palmer ‘Works Live’ Returns

Emerson, Lake, and Palmer’s Works Live, recorded during the trio’s famed 1977 Works tour, has been reissued as a standalone release for the first time in nearly 30 years. The title, via BMG on July 24, 2026, captures the band at its creative height, performing songs from their storied catalog. It’s available to order, on 2-CDs or 2-LPs, in the U.S. here, in Canada here and in the U.K. here.

The album’s highlight includes songs from their legendary concert on August 26, 1977 at Olympic Stadium in Montreal, where the band—Keith Emerson, Greg Lake and Carl Palmer—played to a sold-out crowd of 78,000 with a 64-piece orchestra. Listen to several of the tracks below.
