Update (May 22): Simon has added a few more dates and released a third song, “The Werewolf,” from his upcoming Stranger To Stranger album. We’ve got a live version below.
A huge gap in the calendar still exists, but Paul Simon has begun to fill it with more tour dates. The singer-songwriter has revealed six U.K. concerts for November as he promotes his new Stranger To Stranger album, arriving June 3 on Concord Records. The dates represent his first U.K. concerts since he performed in London’s Hyde Park in 2012.
Simon has already released two songs from the album: “Wristband” (see our item and the clip here) and “Cool Papa Bell.”
The album reunites Simon with longtime collaborator and producer/engineer Roy Halee, who came out of retirement to work on the project. He says that the thrust of the 11-song collection is the sound of the music even more so than the songs themselves.

Simon began his 2016 tour with an appearance at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on April 29 which by all reports was triumphant . The North American leg wraps up on June 30 and July 1 at the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium in the Queens, NY neighborhood where Simon grew up. Tickets for the North American dates are available here.
