Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 blockbuster, Rumours, will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2027. In advance of that golden occasion, the album will be the subject of a new book as part of its publisher’s The Great Albums series. Released on February 4, 1977, the LP transformed Fleetwood Mac from a veteran British-American rock act into a global phenomenon. Music journalist Andrea Swensson revisits the creation of this cultural landmark through insightful writing and more than 200 photographs and pieces of memorabilia.
