Stevie Wonder Sets ‘Songs in the Key of Life’ 50th Anniversary Tour

Stevie Wonder has announced a 2026 tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his Songs in the Key of Life album. Promoted by Live Nation and produced by Wonder Productions, Inc., the concert event, with performances in the U.S., the U.K., Ireland and Europe, is a celebration honoring 50 years of the groundbreaking and universally acclaimed album, originally released on Sept. 28, 1976. The event will feature the iconic album performed in its entirety by the 25x GRAMMY® Award–winning artist. Tickets go on sale September 10 at 10 a.m. local time here.

Songs in the Key of Life earned the legendary 76 year-old singer, songwriter, musician and producer the third of his three GRAMMY® Awards for Album of the Year, all within a four-year period. The album was certified Diamond (representing 10+ million copies sold) by the RIAA. Featuring some of Wonder’s most beloved and enduring songs, it continues to inspire generations of artists and fans around the world.

From the Sept. 8 announcement: At a time when the world continues to search for connection, healing and joy, the messages at the heart of Songs in the Key of Life feel as urgent and necessary today as they did in 1976. Songs like “As,” “Love’s in Need of Love Today,” “Sir Duke” and “Isn’t She Lovely” remain woven into the emotional fabric of generations around the world, reminding audiences not only where they’ve been, but who they are. More than enduring classics, they are powerful expressions of love, resilience and shared humanity.

Wonder is one of the most celebrated and prominent figures in popular music who, at the age of 12, was the youngest recording artist to have achieved a #1 single with “Fingertips Part 2,” and subsequently the first to simultaneously reach #1 on Billboard‘s Hot 100, R&B Singles and Album Charts.

He has amassed 49 Top Forty singles and worldwide sales of over 100 million units andhas received the prestigious Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Songs in the Key of Life, is archived in the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress, for its cultural, historic, and aesthetic significance.
