Phish will be returning to Madison Square Garden in New York City for a four-night New Year’s run to ring in 2016, but if you can’t be in the Big Apple to see them – fear not. The entire run, from Wednesday, December 30th through Saturday, January 2nd, will be webcast in full 1080p high definition at LivePhish.com. The stream will automatically adjust to viewers’ available bandwidth if there are any problems with the highest quality stream.
Pre-orders for a multi-night webcast pass are available here, at a 10 percent discount. Fans can stream each night’s show for 24 hours following each webcast and download MP3s of each performance.
It’s been a big year for the jam band, from fronting six dates for The Grateful Dead’s “Fare Thee Well” concerts to embarking on their own North American summer tour. Phish’s first night at Madison Square Garden will mark their 32nd performance at the legendary venue since December 1994. Though tickets have been sold-out for a while, we recommended checking back here in case additional seats go on sale.
