Shining On: Pink Floyd Tribute Collection features performances by such rock titans as Rick Wakeman, John Wetton, Todd Rundgren, Steve Howe, Steve Hackett and dozens of others. (See the complete list of musicians and songs below.) The collection, packaged in a clamshell box, arrives on June 20, 2025, via Cherry Red Records’ Lemon imprint. It’s available for pre-order in the U.S. here and in the U.K. here.

Disc one features a star-studded recreation of Floyd’s 1971 album, Meddle, featuring a take on “San Tropez” with singer Graham Bonnet, Wakeman, Megadeth’s Chris Poland and Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo. The rest of the album features performances from Geoff Downes, Steve Stevens, Bootsy Collins, Martin Barre, and others.

Disc two presents Pink Floyd’s 1973 psychedelic masterpiece, The Dark Side of the Moon, with performances by Adrian Belew, Robby Krieger, Tommy Shaw, Wakeman, Wetton, award-winning actor Malcolm McDowell and more. The songs on this disc were produced by Billy Sherwood.

The band’s 1975 classic, Wish You Were Here, is brought to life once again with an all-star line-up of rock/metal stars including Wakeman, Ian Paice, Rundgren, Geoff Tate, Joe Satriani, James LaBrie, Bootsy Collins, Jah Wobble and others.
