Two classic rock bands–Chicago and the Doobie Brothers–that came to prominence in the 1970s with hit after hit, have announced plans for a 31-date North American summer tour. It commences June 7 in Concord, CA and ends on July 30 in Virginia Beach, VA with dates in many outdoor amphitheaters (see complete itinerary below). Pre-Sale starts Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. local time; tickets for the general public go on sale Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. local time. Click here for details.
Both bands have other tours planned earlier this year. The Doobie Brothers will be in Australia, New Zealand and Japan in April. Chicago has many U.S. dates in February and March. There is a sizable break during their summer tour, with perhaps more dates to come.
