Sammy Hagar has announced the first dates of his 2022 “Crazy Times” North American summer amphitheater tour. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will be joined by his supergroup The Circle, featuring fellow Van Halen alum (and Rock Hall inductee) Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham, and Vic Johnson, Hagar’s longtime guitar virtuoso. George Thorogood and the Destroyers will join the tour as special guests.
Hagar has many previously announced 2022 dates with the Circle. Tickets for the new shows go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. local time on Jan. 28 here. Redhead Fan Club Members will have access to the first pre-sale tickets beginning Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. local time.
From the Jan. 24 announcement: Sammy Hagar & the Circle have established themselves as one of the most emphatic and exciting live acts on the road today, seamlessly ripping through career-spanning hits from Hagar’s solo years, Montrose, Van Halen, The Circle, and, with Bonham on drums, a Led Zeppelin track or two. The ever-changing setlist includes such classic rock anthems as “I Can’t Drive 55,” “Right Now,” “There’s Only One Way to Rock,” “Mas Tequila,” “Why Can’t This Be Love,” “Heavy Metal,” “Your Love is Driving Me Crazy,” and more.
George Thorogood and the Destroyers are celebrating 45 years in music with a catalog of favorites that includes “Who Do You Love,” “Move It On Over,” “Bad To the Bone,” “I Drink Alone” and “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer.”
