The veteran Southern rock group the Marshall Tucker Band have extensive road work in 2018, including many dates on Lynyrd Skynyrd’s farewell tour.
The band are known for having played 200 to 300 dates a year. Their “Heard It in a Love Song” reached #14 on the Hot 100 in 1977.
“As we continue our journey down the road, I just look back and marvel,” says MTB lead singer Doug Gray. “It doesn’t seem like so long ago that we were just a bunch of kids playing music to make beer money for the weekend. We’re looking forward to seeing our friends, old and new. As always, get ready to party!”
