Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe ‘An Evening of Yes Music Plus’ Concert Set Coming
by Best Classic Bands StaffA concert album featuring Yes alums Jon Anderson, Bill Bruford, Rick Wakeman and Steve Howe, recorded in 1993 will be released on January 31, 2025, via Esoteric Recordings, part of the U.K.’s Cherry Red Records. An Evening of Yes Music Plus, a four-disc set, on 2-CDs and 2-DVDs, is available for pre-order in the U.S. here and in the U.K. here.
From the label’s announcement: At the close of the 1980s, fans of progressive rock were delighted and surprised to learn that former members of Yes, namely Jon Anderson, Bill Bruford, Rick Wakeman and Steve Howe were reuniting to record a studio album and to tour the world. The resulting self-titled studio album was originally issued on Arista Records in 1989 and was a global hit. The release was followed by a hugely successful world tour.
A concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California was captured both on video and in sound resulting in both a double CD and a long form video in 1993. The set features classic Yes material including “I’ve Seen All Good People,” “Starship Trooper” and “Heart of the Sunrise,” alongside live renditions of material from the ABWH self-titled album.
This new remastered edition features the entire concert packaged in a clamshell box, with distinctive artwork by Roger Dean, on two CDs, and also includes the full concert video on a region free DVD. Also included is an additional region free DVD, In the Big Dream, featuring promotional videos and interviews.

Jump into a conversationIs Tony Levin on bass on this production? I saw this tour three times: City Island Harrisburg Pa, Merriweather Post Pavilion Columbia Md, and Constitution Hall Washington DC. Unlike the live cd/dvd, Levin played bass on all three shows I saw.
Huge YES fan, mainly Squire, but I still loved these shows. Anderson is one of a kind!
Jeff Berlin is the bassist on the DVD concert. Tony Levin was apparently ill when this particular concert was filmed.
