UFO, the British hard rock band now in its 47th year, has announced a U.S. tour next spring, sharing the bill with the British metal outfit Saxon, celebrating their 40th year together.
UFO still includes founding members Phil Mogg (vocals) and Andy Parker (drums), along with longstanding members Paul Raymond (keyboards/guitar), Vinnie Moore (guitar) and Rob De Luca (bass). The band, which recently finished its 2016 tour, is currently working on its 22nd studio album, reportedly a collection of covers, to follow up 2015’s studio release, A Conspiracy of Stars.
Saxon will be touring in support of their latest release, 2015’s Battering Ram, as well as their new double live album set, Let Me Feel Your Power (which will be released October 28 in North America), both on the UDR Music label. Saxon consists of founding members Biff Byford (vocals) and Paul Quinn (guitar), plus Nigel Glockler (drums), Doug Scarrett (guitar) and Tim “Nibbs” Carter (bass).
Special guest on all shows is Jared James Nichols. Tickets are available here.
