Jeff Beck, Paul Rodgers, Ann Wilson Tour: Update

Classic rock legends Jeff Beck and Paul Rodgers announced on Jan. 30 the “Stars Align Tour,” their co-headlining summer outing with Ann Wilson of Heart.

Produced by Live Nation, the outing kicks off July 18 and will stop in cities across the U.S. and Canada. On April 2, Beck announced many of his own dates, several of which also feature Wilson. (See below for the complete listing.)

Over the course of Beck’s music career he has earned a eight Grammy Awards and been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice – once as a member of the Yardbirds and again as a solo artist. In the summer of 2016, guitar virtuoso Jeff Beck celebrated 50 years of his musical career with a concert at the Hollywood Bowl.

For this tour, Beck’s band features long-time collaborators, Vinnie Colaiuta (drums) and Jimmy Hall (vocals) as well as long touring partner, Rhonda Smith (bass) and newcomer, cellist Vanessa Freebairn-Smith.

Rodgers has led Free, Bad Company and The Firm. 2018 celebrates his 50th anniversary as a recording artist. For the first time in 50 years in North America his set will focus on his Free catalogue.

Wilson fans can expect to hear an assortment of Heart hits along with tracks from her solo career.
