The Eagles – Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey – announced on September 28 a 2019 world tour with 14 European dates beginning in late May. On October 3, they added five concerts in Australia and New Zealand in February and March. (Second shows in Auckland and Brisbane were added on Oct. 25.) On this tour, the Eagles will be accompanied on stage by a live band that includes a full horn section and full string section.

The band debuted this lineup at the Classic West and East concerts in July 2017 and returned with more than 50 North American dates in 2018. Those shows ran through October 20 with one final performance on December 7 in Honolulu.

The announcement notes the band will perform classic rock hits that span their career, including “Hotel California,” “One of These Nights,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” “Desperado,” and many more.

The band also revealed recently a new collection from Rhino Records, Eagles Legacy, which will be released in two versions on November 2. The first has 12 CDs and includes all seven of the band’s studio albums, three live albums and a compilation of singles and B-sides. It also includes two concert videos: Hell Freezes Over (DVD) and Farewell Tour: Live From Melbourne (Blu-ray).

A vinyl version of Legacy will also be available the same day. Full details can be found here.
