Bruce Springsteen Adds Dates For 2023 Tour With E Street Band

Bruce Springsteen has announced a new wave of dates of his 2023 international tour with the E Street Band, with another 26 concerts in the U.S. and Canada for summer and fall. The tour began on Feb. 1 and continues in the U.S. through mid April. The original news of the tour arrived at the stroke of midnight ET on May 24, 2022.) The current batch of U.S. shows will be followed by European stadium concerts kicking off on April 28 in Barcelona. The second North American tour leg starts Aug. 9 with a series of U.S. stadium dates through Sept. 12. After a break, the band returns on Nov. 3 for dates in Canada and several in the U.S. Tickets to the new shows, announced on Feb. 14, go on sale over the next two weeks beginning Feb. 19. (Second dates in Chicago, Pittsburgh, San Francisco and New Jersey have already been added.) For many cities, the tour will be using Verified Fan via Ticketmaster. The 2023 dates mark the first live shows for Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band since the conclusion of their 14-month, worldwide The River Tour in February 2017. The River Tour was named 2016’s top global tour by both Billboard and Pollstar.

The E Street Band’s members are: Roy Bittan – piano, synthesizer; Nils Lofgren – guitar, vocals; Patti Scialfa – guitar, vocals; Garry Tallent – bass guitar; Stevie Van Zandt – guitar, vocals; and Max Weinberg – drums; with Soozie Tyrell – violin, guitar, vocals; Jake Clemons – saxophone; and Charlie Giordano – keyboards.
At just after 12N ET on Monday, Springsteen’s social media platforms had teased an announcement for May 24. The 15-second clip showed the most recent E Street Band lineup performing “Born in the USA.”

Since the E Street Band’s last tour ended on Feb. 25, 2017, in New Zealand of all places, Springsteen has had two lengthy runs of Springsteen on Broadway, his one-man show of songs and stories. He’s also appeared as a guest at numerous one-off events. Before the current tour, the band’s last U.S. performance was on Sept. 14, 2016, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

Jump into a conversationStill no England on that list (not to mention Scotland & Wales as well) – personally I think Bruce should make it up to us (in England) by doing a few smaller scale gigs in Brighton (maybe the Dome?) come on Bruce, do the right thing…
will Bruce and the band play in Las Vegas for the first time since 2002 ? Allegiant Stadium and T-Mobile Arena are waiting, time to end the 20 year boycott.

Springsteen was never the future of rock & roll but he is a great artist, performer. He is so overrated by the media along with his fans that it’s pathetic.
Thank goodness Bruce is able to charge $1,000/tkt. For this tour. Especially since he was ONLY able to get $850/tkt for Springsteen on Broadway.
I was worried about him.
