The “Never-Ending Tour” of Bob Dylan will make its way back to Europe in March and April, with dates Portugal, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. Among the planned stops are three-night runs in Madrid and Rome, with all other cities hosting the Nobel Prize-winning singer-songwriter for a single evening.
The tour follows a particularly fruitful year for Dylan: 2017 saw the release of his three-disc Triplicate, his latest collection of Great American Songbook covers, and Trouble No More—The Bootleg Series Vol. 13 /1979-1981, a comprehensive collection of music made during Dylan-s so-called Christian era. More of the old standards from his recent albums have found their way into his concert setlists of late, while Dylan’s own iconic compositions of the ’60s and ’70s have been eliminated.

Last April, Dylan was officially presented with the Nobel Prize in Literature in an intimate, secret ceremony in Stockholm. Dylan was in town on tour supporting Triplicate and carved out some time to meet with 12 members of the Swedish Academy, accept his medal, drink some champagne, and perform a few songs.

Jump into a conversationWhen will Bob Dylan be in California 2018 if at all? And his European tour is short why? Will he sing from Triplicate or gospel tracts or both? Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the answers to those questions, just the dates we listed. As for what songs he will play, Dylan is notoriously unpredictable.
