Her Fleetwood Mac bandmates have all participated in the new album, Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie, the 10-song album released by Atlantic Records on June 9.

Sessions for the album took place at The Village Studios in Los Angeles, which is where the band recorded several of their classic albums, including Tusk. Buckingham and McVie were joined in the studio by fellow bandmates Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, who supplied much of the dynamic rhythmic engine.

That leaves one Stevie Nicks as the sole member of the band who was not involved.

Well, it turns out there is new music from Ms. Nicks, you just have to look for it. A new song, “Your Hand I Will Never Let It Go,” was released today. It’s from a new feature film which opened June 16, The Book of Henry, starring Naomi Watts, who plays a single mother of two boys.

Crooked trail I’ve come across
Who can know it’s meant for us
So I get caught, what’s fair is fair
Every single cloud will fall from the air

Then you took my hand, transformation began
Commotion where it once was still
Fireworks explode, front row tickets to the show
This hand I will never let it go

The full Fleetwood Mac lineup is reuniting next month for a pair of stadium concerts, dubbed The Classic, in Los Angeles and New York in July. And Christine McVie says the band are planning a 2018 world tour.

Nicks currently has a handful of other solo currents scheduled this year.
