Ringo Starr has announced a fall leg of his 2026 tour with the All Starr Band with ten U.S. dates in the northeast. The tour follows a recently completed run in the western states that ended on June 14 at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The new dates were revealed on July 6, one day before the, er, Starr, turns 86. Since 2008, Ringo has been dedicating his birthdays to promoting Peace & Love and the movement has grown to include events all over the planet and into the stars with support from NASA. On July 7, Ringo will be celebrating with friends, family and fans in Los Angeles, which will be live streamed across his social media platforms.

The concerts are in support of the newly released Long Long Road, his second consecutive album for the UMe label produced by T Bone Burnett, following 2025’s well-received Look Up. The album arrived on April 24, 2026, and is available in the U.S. here, in Canada here and in the U.K. here.
Said Starr in a statement when the album was announced, “I’m blessed to have T Bone in my life right now and working with me on these records. After we did the last record, which I love listening to, this one just sort of happened. I like to say sometimes I make the right moves, like you can go left or right at any point, and one of the right moves was hooking up with T Bone for Look Up, and now for this one, which I’m calling Long Long Road, because I’ve been on a long, long road.”
Falling into the Americana and country categories, as did Look Up, Long Long Road features collaborations with Billy Strings, Sheryl Crow, Sarah Jarosz, Molly Tuttle, and St. Vincent. Recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles, according to a press release, “this record sees the return of many of the Look Up musicians including the core band (that T Bone affectionately dubs The Texans after the 1959 band Ringo played with in Liverpool) featuring Paul Franklin, David Mansfield, Dennis Crouch, Daniel Tashian, Rory Hoffman, Patrick Warren and Colin Linden.”
Said Burnett, “I’ve loved Ringo’s playing and his singing for my whole life…Ringo Starr is a recording artist of the highest caliber, and I wanted to surround him with these young masters, bringing in some of this extraordinary young energy that’s happening around Nashville for both of these records.”
The first single from the new project was “It’s Been Too Long,” which features vocals from Jarosz and Tuttle.

Among the 10 tracks on Long Long Road is “I Don’t See Me in Your Eyes Anymore,” a somewhat obscure song recorded by the late Carl Perkins. Said Starr, “I recorded two Carl Perkins songs with the Beatles [“Matchbox” and “Honey Don’t”], and both T Bone and I wanted one on this record, and he found this beautiful track I’d never heard before.”
The title track is accompanied by a video directed by director Francesca Gregorini (also Ringo’s stepdaughter). The clip is sentimental and embraces new technologies, and follows Starr on his Long Long Road, driving through scenes from throughout his life, including many personal and never before seen images.
The All-Starr Band features Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, Gregg Bissonette and Buck Johnson.

Starr’s eventful and remarkable life is the subject of a new biography. Ringo: A Fab Life, from author Tom Doyle, employs an episodic, mosaic format that takes readers from Starr’s brushes with death as a child brought up in poverty, through to dizzying heights of fame and success with the Beatles and beyond. The title was published on May 12, 2026, via ECW Press. It’s available to order in the U.S. here and in Canada here. It was published in October 2025 in the U.K., where it’s available here.
