Deep+Purple+Machine+Head+Remastered+2063825 Rhino Records will launch its first-ever “Rocktober” campaign this (of course) October, with a rollout of 13 limited-edition, retail-only releases aimed at the collector market. The first round of mostly vinyl classic rock releases will hit on Tuesday, October 4, with new releases following on each successive Tuesday throughout the month. The “Rocktober” series will feature releases from Alice Cooper, Buckcherry, Deep Purple, the Flamin’ Groovies, Foreigner, Heaven & Hell, Iron Butterfly, Jet, Small Faces, the Stooges, Twisted Sister, T. Rex, and ZZ Top.

Separately, Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider is releasing a new solo album, We Are The Ones, that’ll feature a new acoustic version of the band’s iconic hit “We’re Not Gonna Take It.” The LP also arrives in October (exact date TBA) on Red River Records.
