The Neil Diamond album catalog, more than 35 albums from his early sides for the Bang! label through his hit Columbia and UNI/MCA recordings to his most recent works, is being reissued in high resolution audio/high-fidelity formats. Capitol/UME announced the release of the newly remastered titles of the singer-songwriter, remastered from the original source tapes by his longtime audio engineer, Bernie Becker.
According to a press release, the titles were mastered specifically for iTunes (MFiT) and HRA (High Resolution Audio), “ensuring the delivery of the music to listeners with increased audio fidelity, and improving the sound to a higher digital resolution compared to standard CDs.” The albums are available on iTunes now and will be released over the next month through HDtracks.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member has sold a reported 75 million albums worldwide and 25 Top 20 singles in the U.S.

In addition, Capitol recently released Acoustic Christmas, a new holiday collection from Diamond. The CD and digital versions were released on October 28 in North America with a vinyl version arriving on November 18. The album will be released outside of the U.S. on November 4 and is available here. Acoustic Christmas features new recordings of holiday classics and original tracks by Diamond. This new collection was produced by Don Was (Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan) and Jacknife Lee (U2, R.E.M.,) the pair behind Diamond’s 2014 Melody Road.
