Electric Light Orchestra fans counting down the days before Jeff Lynne’s ELO release their first new music since 2001 have a new treat to enjoy in the interim.
The official video has just been released for “When I Was A Boy,” the first single from the November 13th release, Alone In The Universe, on Columbia Records. The clip was directed by Warren Fu who has helmed such high profile music videos as Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” plus clips for Weezer, The Killers and The Strokes.
The video for the beautiful ballad takes us “inside a dreamer’s journey” showing the development of a young boy through adolescence and young adulthood as he becomes… Jeff Lynne! Watch for yourself…
Until the album arrives, fans can also enjoy the Live In Hyde Park concert DVD which was released last month. Best Classic Bands called it “electric.” Read the full review here. Lynne has also revealed that ELO will be touring in 2016. We’ll continue to bring you details as they are announced.
