The lineup for the 16th edition of the popular tour of ’60s pop music acts, known as the Happy Together tour, has been announced, along with initial 2026 dates. The tour is named, of course, for the Turtles’ big hit that reached #1 on March 25, 1967. The new edition begins in late May, and typically continues into early September with roughly 50 shows. See the preliminary itinerary below; we’ll continue to update it.

This year’s tour marks several notable changes in the lineup. The Association return after skipping the 2025 edition. Also back are Gary Puckett, The Vogues and The Cowsills. Returning, too, is the voice of the Archies, Ron Dante, who in recent years also performed the Turtles songs with founding member Mark Volman. The latter did not perform in 2025 and ultimately died last September. Fellow Turtles founder, Howard Kaylan, is retired and hasn’t participated for several years. Dante will continue singing hits from the Archies and the Turtles.

The Turtles’ official Facebook page shared an endorsement of the 2026 edition on Dec. 11: “We want to congratulate and send our full endorsement of the other fantastic artists on next year’s HTT line up. We have always hoped that the legacy and essence of The Happy Together Tour would be of fun, memories, and entertaining music fans for years to come. -Many blessings, The Turtles.”

The rest of the 2026 lineup: The Troggs, The Fortunes and Jason Scheff, who served as lead singer of Chicago for decades, and will sing the band’s early singles. Together, the lineup represents dozens of Top 10 radio hits.

The Association are known for such acclaimed singles as “Cherish,” “Windy” and “Never My Love.”

The Troggs scored with some different sounds, from “Wild Thing” to “Love is All Around”

Jason Scheff was Chicago’s frontman from 1985 to 2016.

Gary Puckett & the Union Gap enjoyed five Top 10 singles including their 1967 debut, “Woman Woman,” as well as “Young Girl” and “Lady Willpower.”

The Fortunes are the sole English band on this year’s lineup. Their big hits include “You’ve Got Your Troubles” and “Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again.”

The Vogues scored such Top 10 singles as “Turn Around, Look at Me,” “You’re the One” and “Five O’Clock World.”

The Cowsills have been part of the last several years of the tour. Bob, Paul and Susan Cowsill are a family singing group and the original inspiration for television’s The Partridge Family and are best known for the songs “The Rain, The Park and Other Things,” “Hair,” “Indian Lake” and “Love American Style.” They released a well-received studio album, Rhythm of the World, in 2022 and a Christmas ep in 2023. Global, their “lost” album from the early ’90s, was expanded and reissued in 2024.
