Billy Joel’s The 100th: Live at Madison Square Garden (The Complete Concert) is being released on DVD and Blu-ray on May 29, 2026, via Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, and Sony Music Vision. The March 28, 2024 concert was the 100th consecutive performance of his historic MSG residency. The title, featuring 11 additional performances not included in the original broadcast, is available to order in the U.S. here, in Canada here and in the U.K. here and can be purchased on demand now.
From the announcement: Dubbed as the “greatest arena run of all time,” Joel was backed on the iconic 100th performance by his powerhouse seven-piece band, to deliver electrifying performances of his timeless classics and fan-favorite deep cuts. (He was joined by special guest Sting on two of the songs.) The broadcast of the concert premiered on CBS later that year and drew a total of 10 million viewers and went on to win three Emmy Awards.
The Complete Concert includes eleven additional performances not shown in the original broadcast, including “Uptown Girl,” “We Didn’t Start The Fire” and a performance of “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” with Sting.
Additionally, The 100th: Live at Madison Square Garden, a newly edited television broadcast distributed by American Public Television (APT), will begin airing on public television stations on May 29. Check local listings for airtimes. It will also be available to stream on the PBS app.

Yes, that would be nice. Then I could listen to it in my car, which is where I listen to music the most. I understand Billy’s personal reasons for not performing it, but it’s sad that the song that first put him on the map for me, is not on the playlist. I think “Just The Way You Are” is a classic, but l’m just one man.
I’m glad that Billy Joel’s concerts at Madison Square Garden have been preserved on Blu-ray. Billy stopped performing in France and Europe a long time ago. I also regret that he never sings “Honesty” and “Just the Way You Are.” These two songs are very well known in France, unlike “We Didn’t Start the Fire,” which was a huge hit in the U.S. I don’t know if these songs are as popular in the United States, but I would really love for him to perform them again in concert someday, if his health allows him to return to the stage.
