The Eagles—founding member Don Henley, longtime mainstays Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, and newcomers Vince Gill, an established country music superstar, and Deacon Frey, the son of Eagles founder Glenn Frey, who passed away in 2016—have set a number of “An Evening with the Eagles” concerts for this fall.
Following their Classic Northwest concert in Seattle on Sept. 30, the mini-tour begins Oct.17 in Greensboro, N.C., at the Greensboro Coliseum and continues Oct. 20-21 in Atlanta, Ga., at Philips Arena; Oct. 24 in Louisville, Ky., at KFC Yum! Center; and Oct. 27 in Detroit, Mich., at Little Caesars Arena.
The Oct. 21 date in Atlanta was added on August 19. More dates to come? Tickets are sale here and here.

The lineup for the shows will include the same personnel from the recent Classic West and Classic East concerts held in Los Angeles and New York this summer. At the Classic West event, both Vince Gill and Deacon Frey sang a song each. When news of the younger Frey’s involvement initially broke on May 15, Don Henley said, “Glenn’s son Deacon is a very talented young man, and he seems to be up for the task. He’s enthusiastic about it and he’s been working real hard on it, and he’s gonna do it with us. I think that’s appropriate.”
