Bonnie Raitt Announces Fall Tour Dates

Bonnie Raitt has added a string of 14 shows to her 2016 North American Tour in support of her album, Dig In Deep. After selling out much of her North American tour to date, Raitt continues her journey across America through November, playing in Memphis, Atlanta, New Orleans and Austin. The final date in Austin is on her 67th birthday. The California Honeydrops will open all the dates.

Raitt is joined by her longtime touring band: James “Hutch” Hutchinson (bass), Ricky Fataar (drums), and George Marinelli (guitar), along with Mike Finnigan (keyboards). Raitt’s performances have been earning her positive reviews, with Billboard complimenting her “magnificent form: confident, engaging and sexy, while singing and playing her bottleneck slide guitar with searing soulfulness” at one of two sold-out shows at New York City’s Beacon Theatre.

Continuing a long-standing tradition in conjunction with the Guacamole Fund, Bonnie will donate one dollar from every ticket purchased to grassroots local, regional, and national organizations whose work focuses on safe and sustainable energy, social justice and human rights, environmental protection, and blues/music education. Ticket sales for the October/November run begin on April 26th and will proceed in three rounds, with fan pre-sales and special benefit seat sales prior to general public on-sales beginning the week of April 25th.
