The Rolling Stones continued the 2019 edition of their No Filter tour with the second of two concerts in Chicago, Ill., and significantly shook up their setlist in the process. Of the 20 songs they performed at Soldier Field on Tuesday night (June 25), no less than seven of them weren’t played on the tour’s June 21 opener, including such classic rock favorites as “It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll (But I Like It)” and “Bitch.” They replaced such classics as “Angie” and “Let’s Spend the Night Together.”
It’s a “high class” problem to construct a setlist from such a vast catalog. See the June 25 setlist below.

The tour, sponsored by the Alliance For Lifetime Income, brought the Stones back to a city that they first played in 1964.
The 2019 edition of the No Filter tour, originally scheduled to begin April 20, was abruptly delayed on March 30 when the Stones announced an unnamed health issue affecting Mick Jagger. Within days, it was discovered that the legendary frontman, required a heart valve procedure.

Judging from his energy on the stage, Jagger has shown no lingering signs of any health issue. He’s a whirling dervish with the energy of someone five decades’ younger.

Even legends make mistakes. Keith Richards started playing “Midnight Rambler,” which wasn’t the next track on the setlist. As Jagger began singing the song, the band stopped. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry,” he said, as Richards walked over to ‘fess up. “It’s only the second night,” Jagger shouted to the crowd. “And it’s only one fuck-up!”
The evening closed with a dynamic performance of “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” a #1 hit for four weeks 54 years earlier. The song still packs a punch just like the lightning bolt we felt in ’65.

I think he is entitled to that, after all it’s only been 55 years or so, and I can’t recall too many of those.
No remark about how Mick’s mic shut off halfway through Satisfaction and stayed off through the conclusion of the number? B/c that was AAA F’up by whoever was working the soundboard.
