Mike + The Mechanics Announce 2023 Tour

Mike + The Mechanics have announced their “Refueled!” 2023 tour of the U.K. The band, led by Genesis founding member, Mike Rutherford, with perform all their hits and “a drop of Genesis.” The run of 34 concerts will take place in April/May and include a performance at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

Tickets go on sale on June 24 at 10 a.m. local time here.

Joining Rutherford (guitar) are longtime members Andrew Roachford (lead vocals, backing vocals and keyboards) and Canadian-born singer Tim Howar (lead vocals and backing vocals), who has appeared in the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera in London’s West End. The pair share vocal duties adding a soulful dimension to the band’s already established sound.

The “Refueled!” tour will include tracks from their most recent Top 10 album Out of the Blue. Their ninth album featured re-workings of some of the band’s best loved tracks, including “The Living Years” and “Over My Shoulder.” Mike + The Mechanics have sold over ten million records worldwide.
