Jackson Browne isn’t running on empty just quite yet. The legendary singer/songwriter has announced a new lineup of solo tour dates for this fall.

Browne will kick off his 2016 U.S. Fall Solo Acoustic tour on September 29th at the Wente Vineyard in Livermore, CA. So far, there are seven dates scheduled with possibly more to be added. Advance tickets, VIP Packages, and GuacFund Benefit Seats are available starting today at his website (click on his name in bold above).

This will be on the heels of his current tour with a full band (see our story here), including longtime bandmates Val McCallum (guitar), Mauricio Lewak (Drums), Jeff Young (keyboards), Bob Glaub (bass), Alethea Mills (Vocals) and the acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz (guitar, lap steel, pedal steel). This tour, which kicked off on June 3rd at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, PA, continues through August including a notable “doubleheader” alongside James Taylor at Fenway Park on August 3rd.

Browne is most known for his laid-back vibe, which helped set the tone for much of the music that came out of California in the ’70s. It was during this time that Browne co-wrote “Take it Easy” with the late Glenn Frey, which would go on to become the first hit song for The Eagles. Interestingly, he revisited the site of that song on a number from his most recent album, Standing in the Breach, that’s titled “Leaving Winslow.”

Since releasing his first self-titled album in 1972 (which some refer to as Saturate Before Using for the words on the canvas bag that’s the background for its cover art), the literate singer/songwriter has gone on to sell 18 million albums. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Tickets are available here. If your date is sold-out, try here.
