Chicago has announced a handful of new tour dates that will take place in August and September, following the previously announced shows that the band plans in conjunction with REO Speedwagon. The newly added Chicago dates, which do not include REO, launch on Aug. 31 in Puyallup, Wash., and continue across Canada from Sept. 2-16. Scroll down to the bottom for the complete itinerary, including all new dates.

The joint REO Speedwagon and Chicago North American summer tour kicks off June 13.

Tickets for all dates are available here.

On Jan. 11, REO Speedwagon frontman Kevin Cronin revealed that he was having some unspecified surgery which forced the postponement of many of the band’s winter concerts. On Jan. 24, he wrote: “I am overwhelmed, and so grateful for the outpouring of well wishes and support which so many of you showered upon me. All of your positive energy and prayers must have worked, as my surgery went flawlessly, and I am home from the hospital, healing up and resting comfortably.

“This little health scare has been a wake up call for me, and has caused me to appreciate the little things, and count my many blessings…one of them being that fact the REO Speedwagon has the coolest and most loyal fans in rock’n roll. Thanks to each and every one of you…”

For the summer tour, Chicago will perform their historic Chicago II album in its entirety followed by the “world’s longest encore” as the band jokingly refers to it, filled with their greatest hits.

REO Speedwagon will play their classic rock hits and fan-favorites such as “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” “Time For Me To Fly,” “Roll With the Changes,” “Keep On Loving You,” “Take It On the Run,” and more.
