He must really enjoy the Great White Way! On March 21, Bruce Springsteen announced that he has extended his historic one-man-show “Springsteen On Broadway” at the Walter Kerr Theatre all the way into December. According to the new announcement, The Boss will play 81 more shows, closing out the run (that’s what he says now, anyway) on December 15.

The additional shows, which will begin on July 10, mark the third time “Springsteen on Broadway” has been extended since its initial eights-week run. The show began last October and runs several times per week.

Tickets for the newly-announced “Springsteen on Broadway” shows will go on sale Wednesday, March 28 at 11 a.m. ET, exclusively through Ticketmaster Verified Fan. On March 26, fans that had registered began receiving information about their “designated entry time” to try to purchase tickets.

The official announcement gave this information: “’Springsteen on Broadway’ has drawn exceptional demand since its first announcement. In order to recognize the tremendous number of fans who previously participated but have not had the opportunity to shop for tickets, for this onsale, only fans who previously registered, and have not purchased tickets, will be eligible to receive an invitation to the onsale. Eligible fans will receive additional information on Monday, March 26, to prepare in advance.”

The post on the show’s web page also notes: A digital lottery will continue to operate through the extension for fans interested in purchasing tickets after the March 28th onsale. For details, visit luckyseat.com.

Or, you can always try to get tickets the old-fashioned way. Go here or here.

For every performance, 26 tickets will be sold for $75 each, limit 2 tickets per winner. Seat locations may vary per performance. Lottery entries will be permitted up to a week prior to the performance desired and drawings will occur 24 hours prior to the performance.

Winner and non-winner notifications will be sent at 12:00 p.m. ET the day prior via email or SMS. Only one entry is permitted per person. Repeated entries and invalid email addresses will be discarded. Tickets must be purchased online with a credit card by 4:00 p.m. ET the day prior to the performance using the purchase link and unique code in a notification message. Tickets not claimed by 4:00 p.m. ET the day prior to the performance are forfeited. Lottery tickets will be void if resold.
