For over 10 years The Best Fest has celebrated classic rock performers with such events as Dylan Fest, Petty Fest and so on. It will now honor Neil Young on September 13-14 at New York’s Bowery Ballroom with a two-night all-star concert event.
Sponsored by Jameson Irish Whiskey, Neil Fest will feature more than 30 artists including Norah Jones, Ryan Adams, Jakob Dylan, Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, Brian Fallon of Gaslight Anthem and many more performing their favorite Young-penned classics.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 28th with proceeds to benefit the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. More info here.
Speaking of Young, The Tonight Show aired a re-run on Tuesday night of his duet performance of “Old Man” from earlier this year.
