Three members of the original Alice Cooper band—from the days when Alice Cooper was still the name of the band—will reunite with that band’s namesake for a one-off concert in Nashville. Bassist Dennis Dunaway, drummer Neal Smith and guitarist Michael Bruce will perform what’s being described as a “mini-set” with Alice Cooper (the guy, that is) at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s Andrew Jackson Hall on May 14.
The Nashville date will be the only time during the Spend the Night with Alice Cooper USA tour where the four will meet up. All four were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011. Glenn Buxton, the band’s original guitarist, died in 1997.
Tickets are on sale now at TPAC.org, by phone at 615-782-4040, and at the TPAC Box Office, 505 Deaderick St., in downtown Nashville. VIP packages are available through the TPAC Box Office for a limited time.

Dunaway, Smith and Bruce have also contributed to Cooper’s forthcoming new album due this summer, produced by Bob Ezrin. In a statement, Cooper said, “We’ve recorded much of my last album and my new one in Nashville and it’s such a great music town. With so many musician, songwriter and producer friends here, as well as great rock fans who come to our concerts, it’s special to be performing with Neal, Michael and Dennis in Nashville for them.”

Jump into a conversationShould be more clear because from the title and lead in I came looking for the Earwigs to be reuniting; which is Alice Cooper’s (Vince’s) actual original band.
