Adam Sandler Thanksgiving

“Eat that turkey all night long, Fifty million Elvis fans can’t be wrong”

You’ve got to hand it to Lorne Michaels’ knack for identifying and then nurturing talent. The list of Saturday Night Live alums who have moved on to film and sitcom stardom is a long one.

Case in point: Adam Sandler. The Brooklyn, NY native, born September 9, 1966, initially joined SNL in 1990 as a writer at the ripe age of 24 and a year later became a featured player. Though he appeared on the sketch comedy series for only five seasons, from 1990 to 1995, his impact was certainly felt and he used his fame as a springboard to feature films and his own Happy Madison production company.

Sandler has asked us to personally wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving with this memorable performance of “The Thanksgiving Song.”

Watch 26 year-old Sandler debut the song on SNL on November 18, 1992. Love to eat turkey…
