Because Quentin Tarantino’s movie is so chock full of gory violence – yes, we realize that that can pretty much describe any Tarantino film – only the premium cable networks can run it. And run it. It’s the ultimate guilty pleasure: when you’re channel surfing at night, you know that there’s a reasonable chance you’ll stumble upon Pulp Fiction. And no matter what scene is on, you’re there!

What a cast! John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis, Ving Rhames, Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Christopher Walken, Eric Stoltz.

Pulp Fiction has dozens of unforgettable lines in Tarantino’s and Roger Avary’s Academy Award-winning screenplay. Just read these and you’ll know exactly what scene they’re from.

The film earned the Palme d’Or at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival and had its U.S. release on Oct. 14 of that year.

Pulp Fiction marked a huge resurgence for Travolta who was 40 when the film was released. He earned an Academy Award nomination for his performance as Vincent Vega. Thurman was only 24 when the film was released. Jackson turned 70 on December 21, 2018; Travolta celebrated his 65th on February 18, 2019.
