Mad Men album coverIf you’re still bummed about Mad Men ending, here’s a little something to cheer you up – a 24-track companion album to the Emmy award-winning show, released last Friday (10/9).

Retrospective: The Music of Mad Men features songs from all seven seasons. Classics from the likes of Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, The Beach Boys, The Zombies and both Frank and Nancy Sinatra are intermingled with original score numbers and modern selections that nod to the spirit of the show like “The Infanta” by The Decemberists and “A Beautiful Mine,” the instrumental theme song by RJD2. Also included are two new songs sung by the stars of the series: “The Best Things in Life Are Free,” performed by Robert Morse (Bertram Cooper) and “C’est Magnifique” by Christina Hendricks (Joan Harris).

And for fans who just can’t get enough of the sounds of the sixties, the record is also available as a limited-edition 12-inch vinyl bundled with a Crosley Executive Turntable, available here .

The album release comes in conjunction with the limited edition Mad Men: The Complete Collection Gift Set and Mad Men: The Final Season, Part 2, out October 13th.
