Foreigner has announced more dates for their farewell tour and this time it’s news of a 2024 co-headlining run with Styx. The “Renegades & Juke Box Heroes” tour features dozens of summer dates, along with special guest John Waite.
Citi is the official presale credit card of the U.S. “Renegades & Juke Box Heroes” tour dates. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase pre-sale tickets beginning Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for the general public go on sale Dec. 8 here.
When Foreigner originally announced their farewell tour, leader and founder, Mick Jones said, “Many years ago, I wrote a song called ‘Feels Like The First Time’ and today we are launching one last worldwide tour. We will be presenting a show that I know will have the same enthusiasm as our very first appearances. While I’m sure our fans will have mixed feelings about the end of the road for the band, I know our shows are going to delight audiences everywhere.”
Of the 2024 tour, Styx founding guitarist James “JY” Young said, “We’re very excited to be sharing the concert stage with Foreigner and John Waite. We have previously toured with Foreigner and both bands… had a great time doing it. Looking forward to seeing everybody this summer!”
Foreigner’s lead singer, Kelly Hansen, added, “As we continue on with our farewell tour, I have been very moved by the support and reaction of all of our fans. To perform these next shows with our friends Styx and John Waite makes it even better. I am so looking forward to spending many beautiful summer nights all around the country, full of great Classic Rock, music, and great friends.”
And as John Waite declares, “Looking forward to blazing across the USA with my band this summer. All the hits in all the cities. It will be major. A great night. Don’t miss it – be there!”
