Following up the October 2016 DVD release of Bryan Adams’ 1996 Wembley concert, Eagle Rock Entertainment is releasing a 2-CD and digital version of the show, with the release of Wembley Live 1996 on June 30.
On that evening—July 27, 1996—London’s Wembley Stadium hosted a sell-out crowd in excess of 70,000. Adams was touring in support of his multi-platinum 18 ’Til I Die album, which had only been released a few weeks prior, and had just hit the #1 spot on the U.K. Charts, as well as reaching Top 5 around Europe.
Opening with the album’s first hit single “The Only Thing That Looks Good on Me Is You,” the set includes Adams favorites such as “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You,” “Summer of ’69,” “Heaven,” “Kids Wanna Rock,” “ Run To You” and “Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?” Additionally, Melissa Etheridge joined Adams onstage for “It’s Only Love.”
