Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana’s An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits Live will return to the House of Blues stage inside Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino this summer, marking Santana’s ninth year at the intimate venue. CITI pre-sales began today, Monday, April 26, at noon. The House of Blues, Live Nation and Foundation Room pre-sales begin Tuesday, April 27 at 10 a.m. Tickets to the general public go on sale Friday, April 30 at 10 a.m. here.

Santana‘s next album, Blessings and Miracles, includes a collaboration with Steve Winwood on “Whiter Shade of Pale.” The album also features a reunion with Rob Thomas who sang on the Santana smash hit, “Smooth.” Others joining the album include Chris Stapleton and Kirk Hammett.

The classic rock legend turns 74 on July 20.

“I feel really excited,” he tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “Some albums, like Abraxas and Supernatural, you can just see them stick out of time and gravity. This album is like that. It’s because we’ve been marinating and just simmering. The notes are really juicy.”

He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998) and was the recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors in 2013.
