Jackson Browne Adds Dates to 2025 Tour

Jackson Browne is continuing to announce dates for what’s shaping up to be a 2025 tour. The latest shows to be revealed include a mini-residency at the Beacon Theatre in New York for August. A pre-sale for those performances begin April 9 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for the general public go on sale April 11 at 10 a.m. here.

Browne turned 76 on October 9, 2024. He has earned six Top 20 singles in his career, beginning with his first release, “Doctor My Eyes,” which reached #8 in 1972. Other songs from his classic rock catalog include “Running on Empty,” “Rock Me on the Water,” and “Fountain of Sorrow.” He co-wrote “Take it Easy” with Glenn Frey, which became the first hit for the Eagles.

    I was unaware that Jackson Browne played a large part in Stevie Ray Vaughan’s first LP, Texas Flood, until I read the SRV biography by Alan Paul.

    It just goes to show you . . .
