Chicago, Brian Wilson Set 2022 Co-Headlining Tour

Chicago and Brian Wilson, co-founder of the Beach Boys, with Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin have announced a co-headlining 25-city 2022 tour across the U.S. The tour, announced on Nov. 30, 2021, begins June 7 and continues through July 26.

Tickets go on sale starting Friday, December 3 at 10 a.m. local time here. Citi is the official presale credit card of the tour. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Wednesday, December 1 at 10 a.m. local time until Thursday, December 2 at 10 p.m. local time.

On Nov. 19, Wilson released an all-instrumental album, At My Piano, of many of his famous compositions including “God Only Knows,” “California Girls,” and “Love and Mercy.” He is the subject of a new documentary, Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road, that debuted at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival.

Wilson, who turns 80 on June 20, has other 2022 tour dates on his calendar. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.

Chicago have toured every year since they began in 1967. Their current lineup includes three original band members: Robert Lamm on keyboards and vocals, Lee Loughanne on trumpet and vocals and James Pankow on trombone.
