Todd Rundgren Plans New Album, Tour

A new 15-track album, White Knight, is coming from Todd Rundgren on May 12 on Cleopatra Records. (Pre-order is available here.) The multi-faceted artist will also hit the road starting on April 29, in St. Louis.

White Knight is the followup to 2015’s Global and features a slew of guest stars, including Donald Fagen, Daryl Hall, Trent Reznor, Joe Satriani, and Joe Walsh. The first track released from the album, “That Could Have Been Me,” features Swedish pop star Robyn. Scroll down to listen.

Rundgren enjoyed a slew of hits earlier in his career including the #5 pop hit “Hello It’s Me” and the #16 “I Saw the Light.” He also has had a hugely successful career as a producer with projects for Hall and Oates, Badfinger, Grand Funk Railroad and Meat Loaf’s mega-hit, Bat Out of Hell.
