The Steve Miller Band, with support act Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, will head out on a 34-date tour this summer, beginning June 13 in Des Moines, Iowa, and ending Aug. 31 in Woodinville, Wash. The tour is billed as “An Amazing Evening of Original American Music—Classic Rock Meets Classic Country.”
Tickets are available here. The full itinerary is below.
The summer tour follows a shorter spring tour for the SMB that begins March 12 in Clearwater, Fla., and runs until March 24 in Southaven., Miss.
Stuart and his band, the summer tour’s openers, are a country/Americana outfit that recently collaborated with former Byrds Roger McGuinn and Chris Hillman on a series of dates recreating that group’s classic album Sweetheart of the Rodeo. Miller and Stuart worked together on a recent performance at New York’s Jazz at Lincoln Center.
