No tricks – Roky Erickson‘s got a treat of a show for you. The legandary psych-rocker and founding member of the 13th Floor Elevators, who has recovered from schizophrenia, is celebrating his 70th birthday on July 15, 2017, with a concert in his hometown of Austin, TX.
Erickson will continue the celebration with 18 concerts in September and October, culminating on his favorite holiday (Halloween).
Erickson is known for his iconic 1981 album, The Evil One. Zombies, vampires, demons and more make appearances on this punk-rock love letter to Satan that’s equal parts amusing, chilling and seriously rock ‘n’ roll.
