Paul McCartney has announced a three concerts in Mexico as part of the 2024 edition of his “Got Back” tour, bringing his total for the year to 17. The legendary performer turned 82 on June 18. The three stadium shows in Mexico, announced on June 20, include a headlining performance at the Corona Capital Festival. They follow the news earlier in the month of concerts in South America in October as well as performances in Paris, Madrid, Manchester and London in December. [His one public performance so far this year was at the Jimmy Buffett tribute concert held at the Hollywood Bowl on April 11.] The 2023 edition of the “Got Back” tour took place in Australia, Mexico and Brazil, spanning from October to December. Sale dates for the 2024 shows have varied for each city. [The original June 10 announcement of the South American shows indicated that more news was “coming soon”; the five dates were spaced out enough that they left room for second concerts in each market and there could certainly be more continents added. On June 12, he added a second concert in Buenos Aires due to “overwhelming demand.”] Artist pre-sales for the new shows in Mexico begin June 27 at 2 p.m. local time; general on-sale starts on June 28 here. [Tickets for his Nov. 17 headlining date at the Corona Capital Festival will be available here.] General on-sale for the dates in Europe and the U.K. begin June 21 at 10 a.m. also begin here. The South American dates are available at his website and here.

McCartney had first teased a 2024 tour with a post on his Instagram account that showed a roadie moving an equipment case marked “MPL 24.”

The legend’s setlist is typically 36 songs, drawing from his wealth of material with The Beatles, Wings and his solo career. He closed his 2023 “Got Back” tour at five major cities in Brazil, ending with a massive show at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
