David Lee Roth to Open For Kiss’ 2020 ‘End of the Road’ Tour
by Best Classic Bands StaffTwo legendary names in classic rock have announced that they’ll be touring together in 2020. Kiss revealed on Dec. 17 that David Lee Roth will be opening for them on their End of the Road tour, beginning Feb. 1. It has been years since Roth has toured as a solo artist.
Diamond Dave previously announced a 2020 Las Vegas residency, beginning in January at the House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Tickets for those shows are available at Ticketmaster. Roth hasn’t toured as a solo artist since 2006.
The End of the Road tour is now scheduled through Oct. 2, 2020. It will officially close on July 21, 2021 at a New York location yet to be named. Tickets to see Kiss and DLR are available here.
On Nov. 14, Kiss and the promoters of the Australia and New Zealand edition of their tour announced that that leg had been cancelled due to illness. Earlier that week U.S. doctors had advised Paul Stanley to rest due to a bad case of influenza, prompting the rescheduling of the tour’s first show in Perth to the end of the run and the cancellation of New Zealand.
At the time of the Australia cancellation, Stanley said: “Words cannot begin to convey our massive disappointment in having to cancel our End of the Road tour of your incredible country. Our connection to you is unparalleled and decades deep.
“We waited as long as we could and held out hope to the last minute that my situation would clear up and we would be able to march forward. Doctor’s orders ultimately have taken precedence and finally we now find ourselves with no choice but to surrender. With heavy hearts, KISS.”

Jump into a conversationI thought people were getting smart and found out what I always knew. Kiss is all show and no real talent. I’ve heard garage bands who sound more talented.
Yeah…this has got cluster written all over it…
