With a new recording contract with BMG, John Fogerty is also seeing his solo albums being reissued as part of the new arrangement. First up, in an announcement today (Oct. 18) is a 20th anniversary edition of his 1997 Blue Moon Swamp which won Best Rock Album at the 40th Grammy Awards in 1998.
The Nov. 17 reissue will feature a new cover “showcasing the famed concert backdrop from the album’s original supporting tour.” Pre-order the CD and vinyl versions. A limited-edition blue vinyl version is available exclusively at Barnes & Noble.
The 14-track Blue Moon Swamp includes “Hot Rod Heart,” “Rattlesnake Highway” and the Grammy-nominated “Blueboy.”

The announcement notes Fogerty is in the studio working on a new solo album, as yet untitled and coming “next year.” It will be Fogerty’s first since 2013’s Wrote a Song for Everyone. He has two concerts scheduled for later this month and begins a new residency at the Wynn Las Vegas in January 2018.
Additional reissues from Fogerty’s solo career include the chart-topping and multi-platinum Centerfield, the gold-certified albums Eye of the Zombie and Premonition, Déjà vu (All Over Again), as well as a new Best of collection featuring highlights and favorites curated from his extensive solo catalog. Release dates have not yet been announced.
