The Goo Goo Dolls will hit the road this fall for their second headlining run of the year in support of their latest release for Warner Bros. Records, Boxes, their 11th album. Supporting them will be the pop-rock band SafetySuit.

The tour will kick off October 26 in Boise, ID, and run through December (see the full itinerary below). VIP package presales have begun with tickets to the general public going on sale August 19. Tickets are available here and here.

This announcement comes in the midst of the Goo Goo Dolls’ current tour, with current members John Rzeznik on vocals and guitar and Robby Takac on bass. The tour has been running since July and also features American rock bands Collective Soul and Tribe Society. The summer leg continues through the middle of September and will make remaining stops in Miami, Austin and Las Vegas.

Check out the official video for their first single from the album, “So Alive.”

Though the Goo Goo Dolls are most remembered for their massive worldwide hit song, “Iris” from the City of Angels soundtrack, which spent nearly 12 straight months on the Billboard charts and held the #1 position for 17 consecutive weeks in 1998, the band has been active since 1986. However, right before hitting superstardom, lead singer and founder John Rzeznik said he had been suffering from major writer’s block and almost quit the band just days before being approached to write “Iris,” the track that would ultimately make the band a household name. Since then, the group has sold over 12 million records and has held 19 top 10 singles on multiple charts. Rzeznik has been honored with the Songwriters Hall of Fame Hal David Starlight Award. Boxes is available here.
