Rod Stewart has announced a summer U.S. tour where he’ll be joined by special guest Cyndi Lauper for an 18 dates beginning July 6. The schedule includes a couple of gaps that perhaps can be filled with additional performances.
Tickets are available here and here.
The announcement highlighted Stewart‘s enormous accomplishments: He is one of the top selling artists of all time with a reported 200 million records sold worldwide. Between his work with Faces and as a solo artist, his classic rock war horses include “Maggie May,” “Every Picture Tells a Story,” “Mandolin Wind,” “You Wear It Well,” “Stay With Me,” “Tonight’s the Night,” “You’re In My Heart (The Final Acclaim),” “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?,” “Young Turks,” and “Forever Young.” His numerous awards include two inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the ASCAP Founders Award for songwriting and a Grammy™ Living Legend. In 2016, he officially became Sir Roderick Stewart in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace for his services to music and charity.
