AXSTV-Breaking-Band-YouTube-ArtistsAnew reality musical series, Breaking Band, is giving talented emerging musicians a chance for their big break, starting Sunday, January 24th at 9:30 pm ET on AXS TV (pronounced “access”). While Walter White won’t be making any appearances, this season’s mentors do include several classic rockers.

Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray), Belinda Carlisle (The Go-Go’s), Robin Zander (of recently nominated Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick), Moby, Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) and Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction), share advice from their decades-long careers and help their protégés prepare for their debut live broadcast performances. “This is a show by and for musicians, whereby our emerging artists learn from their mentors just as much as the mentors learn from them,” explains executive producer Marc Scarpa.

Donovan Leitch, Royal Machines vocalist and son of legendary Scottish folk singer Donovan, will be hosting the documentary-style series. To learn more, check out the show’s official website and Facebook page.
