Paul McCartney has added three U.S. dates to his “Freshen Up” tour.  The September 10 announcement brings to eight the number of U.S. concerts in May and June 2019. On August 31, he revealed the first five 2019 shows. These follow previous 2018 dates in Canada, Europe, the U.K. and Japan. (See the updated itinerary below.)

That brings to 25 the number of concerts he’s doing in 2018-19 to support the release of his upcoming Egypt Station album, which arrived Sept. 7 on Capitol Records. The tour begins September 17 in Quebec City.

Also on September 10, McCartney released a video for the song, “Fuh You.” Watch it below.

On July 5 he revealed his first U.K. dates since 2015 including his first concert in Scotland in almost a decade. That followed the July 3 news when he announced his return to the concert stage with four Canadian dates, marking his first series of concerts of 2018 since the “One On One” tour that played to some two million fans in 2016 and 2017.

On July 12, McCartney announced he’ll make his first appearance ever in Krakow, Poland, on Dec. 3, and on the 13th he added a date on Dec. 5 in Vienna, Austria, his first time playing the city in five years. When the Austrian date went on sale, the concert sold out in 20 minutes. A second date there was added there.

The former Beatle has been on a whirlwind dash with well-publicized private concerts at London’s Abbey Road Studios and at Liverpool’s Cavern Club, and at New York’s Grand Central Station among the activities.
